Hello all,

Jay M. here, Commander of Helldiver Squadron Offensive Tactical Force. So, things are getting a bit dry for HSOTF, and I would like to say that it’s going great, but I can’t. That is due partly to myself and my workload. Keep in mind, I’m a full-time student in college, and well, college isn’t easy by any accord.

I will be in Oaxaca, Mexico from late June to late July or early August. I will be filming there, as the terrain is vastly full of variety and excellent lighting. Ruins and the city is just a part of it all. I will be helping out, perhaps leading a few programs, in the landfill-camps where many reside.

As you can probably tell, I won’t be here. I will not be bringing my laptop, and my phone will most likely be rendered useless. An iPad will be the closest thing to communications technology outside of the country, and I doubt I will get near that thing. So, this means I will not be participating in HSOTF for a while. “Boulder”, will be going with me, so he won’t be here, either. However, please continue to apply, email HSOTF, and execute all sorts of lovely actions which will do you no good. No one has volunteered to stay in my absence, so HSOTF is on AN OFFICIAL PAUSE. Emphasis on OFFICIAL!!!!

Apologies, and I hope to see you all soon after the trip. But until then, I’m here from now to late May, when I will drag myself away from the screen and prepare to fly for real. Thanks to all for their hard work and commitment to getting this thing going! HSOTF rocks!

Best of luck to you all, mates.

—Jay M.

Nah, you already know who I am…don’t need to write “Commander of blah-blah-blah”, or whatever…yeah…
